We were up and headed east again today but not real early. I think the Bloody Marys from last night helped us sleep a little later this morning. We weren't complaining and it really didn't matter how early we got on the road anyway. We would try to make it to Sparta, Wisconsin to Dennis and Mary Ceshkers for the night. Sharon called Mary to let her know what our schedule would be for the day today.
Our day was pretty uneventful except to stop for lunch and then a gas stop at the same time. We shared the driving again today and everything went pretty smoothly without much hassle.
We pulled into the Ceshker's about 5:30 and mostly just sat and talked and caught up for most of the night. We actually hadn't seen them since last year in Apache Junction, Arizona. We got the motorhome set up in the driveway without too much trouble., just after we arrived, even though the driveway is quite hilly.
We had a sandwich and chips for supper tonight even though we weren't too hungry. Dennis and Mary hadn't eaten either so we all sat down later on and ate.
By the time 10 o'clock rolled around we were both ready for bed. It had been a long day driving even though our air conditioning in the motorhome worked reasonably well. It was actually a little cooler for most of the day today, and I think that helped more than anything.

We had nothing to do or nowhere to go today so we just started the day out with a leisure Breakfast with Dennis and Mary after we got up and ready. I had gotten up early and typed my Journal so I had nothing extra to do today either.
They had provided a very good Breakfast of Coffee Cake and Muffins, Hard Boiled Eggs and Fruit and we enjoyed it very much.
The whole day was spent just sitting around and talking which suited me very well. Sharon and Mary took off for Wal-Mart for a little while but mostly we just relaxed and rested from the last month.
Over the day we managed to get all caught up and finished off the night with a game of Dominoes. The game brought us up to about 9:30 and we retreated to the motorhome for the night.
Shortly afterward we hit the feathers and called it a night.

This will be the last day on the road for us. At 9 we got ready and went out to eat Breakfast with Dennis and Mary, after we got the motorhome ready to travel. We would hit the bricks immediately after we returned from Breakfast.
We went to a little bar that we had been to before for Breakfast and had omelettes that Sharon and I couldn't finish and we put them in a box and took the remainder home.
We were on our way about 10 minutes after Breakfast. We were both anxious to get home after being on the road for the last month.
Our first stop was at Stevens Point to a craft store called Hirschner's. We remembered where it was in relation to the highway, and it was a quick stop. Sharon couldn't find a thing she was interested in so we were back on the road in about 20 minutes.
Our only other stop before we hit the twin cities (Iron Mountain/Kingsford) was for gas in Crandon, Wisconsin. We knew we would be just a little short to make it home.
We also stopped for our mail as we got into town and lo and behold Jessica was at the Post Office with Max and Stella. We kidnaped Stella and headed for home. In about a half hour Jess called up and came over with Chicken and Spaghetti for Supper. It was very good and a "welcome home" gladly accepted.
